Paula is General Practitioner and Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator living in Co Sligo.
Movement has always been an important part of Paula's life. Having initially formally trained in Ballet, Paula has been practising embodiment dance for over 10 years now and recently began Open Floor Teacher Training. Her passion lies in integrating mind body approaches, including movement meditation into her work as a doctor.
A graduate of UCD Faculty of Medicine, Paula began practising meditation formally during her medical training. During this time she travelled extensively in Asia and then qualified as a yoga instructor in 2005.
Paula's personal meditation and movement practice drew her to explore the therapeutic benefits of eastern meditation practices within modern medicine. Paula's journey led her to The Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, in Boston and subsequently

The University of Massachussetts Medical School, MA. In 2011 Paula commenced teacher training at The Centre for Mindfulness and is now a formally certified instructor. Paula also completed a one year post graduate certificate in Mindfulness Based Approaches at The Centre for Mindfulness, Research and Practice, University of Bangor, Wales.
Paula has been teaching Mindfulness Based Approaches within Healthcare Settings and Medical Education for 5 years. She recently founded Beo - Centre for Mindfulness & Integrated Health, where she combines movement, medicine and meditation.
